Hoboken HOP Shuttle Bus
Fare: $1 per ride, free for senior citizens & children under 12. Click here for more information and to track the Hop online.

PATH
Fare: $1.75 per ride, $1.30 per ride with SmartLink Card. More fare information.
Schedules vary by time of day. Use this map to plan trips.

NJ TRANSIT Hudson-Bergen Light Rail
Fare: $2.10. Unlimited monthly passes are $54. A trip planner is available from NJ TRANSIT.

NJ TRANSIT Bus Routes
Fares are as low as $1.25 and increase depending on trip distance.

Transportation in Jersey City 

Bikes outside the Grove Street PATH StationOne of Jersey City's strengths is its access to a wide variety of trans- portation options. Whether you're walking, biking, driving, taking the bus or train, or relaxing on the ferry, if you start in Jersey City, you can get there from here. Walking
For several years, Jersey City has ranked respectably in American Podiatric Medicine Association's  "Best Fitness Walking Cities" campaign. In addition, the NJ Department of Transportation's  "Liberty-Water Gap Trail" will allow the adventurous walker to traverse the width of the state from Liberty State Park to the scenic Delaware Water Gap.

Biking

Driving 
With ready access to the NJ Turnpike, Route 1-9, and both the Holland Tunnel and Lincoln Tunnel, getting in and out of Jersey City can be quick and easy. Check our Travel & Traffic Advisories page before you go.

Buses
Both NJ Transit and the Hudson Transportation Management Association have a wealth of information on various commuter options, including buses.

PATH Trains and Light Rail
The 24-hour PATH Train and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail systems provide East-West (Newark to NYC) and North-South Commuters in Winter Exchange Place Light Rail(Secaucus to Bayonne) rail service respectively.

Ferry
Whether you're commuting to NYC, or just want to take in the sights of the harbor, the NY Waterway ferry provides breathtaking views of both Jersey City and Manhattan.
